*** Toland and Sheridan are NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week ***
Boston, MA - 9/10/19 – Talia Toland ’21 and Ann Sheridan ’22 are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week. The duo finished 2ndin A-Division at the Toni Deutsch ’58 Regatta. They sailed constantly in unstable conditions and helped Tufts to a 3rdplace finish.
*** Giblin and Clarke are NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week ***
New Haven, CT – 9/10/19 – Audrey Giblin ’20 and Paige Clarke ’20 are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week for their performance at the Harry Anderson Trophy. Giblin and Clarke finished ten races in the Top 3 and won A-Division by 13 points. Their performance led the Dartmouth Big Green to victory.
Around the district – Dartmouth won the Harry Anderson and the Tufts Invite, while Boston University had a strong showing at the Harman Trophy and Penobscot Bay Open both hosted by Maine Maritime. At the Toni Deutsch ’58 Regatta, Brown won with MIT and Tufts finishing in the top three. Roger Williams University won the Pine Trophy, MIT won the Harvard Invitational, and URI claimed first at the Mt. Hope Invite.
