*** Schoenherr is the NEISA Co-ed Sailor of the Week***
Santa Barbara, CA – 11/10/19 – Gage Schoenherr ’21 of the Coast Guard Academy is the NEISA Co-ed Sailor of the Week for his performance at the Laser Performance Men’s Singlehanded Nationals. Gage competed against 17 other sailors from across the country and finished third. Schoenherr finished 10 of the 14 races in the top 5.
*** Reineke is the NEISA Women Sailor of the Week***
Santa Barbara, CA – 11/10/19 – Sophia Reineke ’21 is the NEISA Women Sailor of the Week for winning the 2019 Laser Performance Women’s Singlehanded Nationals! Reineke bested all competitors to win the regatta by nine points. Reineke sailed consistently for the entire event in a wide range of conditions.

At the Laser Performance Women’s Singlehanded Nationals Talia Toland ’21 from Tufts finished fourth, Elizabeth Shanahan ’23 from Boston College finished eighth, Lousia Nordstrom ’20 from Yale finished ninth, and Alexandra Talbot ’22 from Tufts finished fourteenth. Connor Nelson ’23 from Brown finished fifth at the Laser Performance Men’s Singlehanded Nationals while Richie Gordon from Coast Guard finished sixth and Javier De urdanibia panos ’21 finished twelfth.
