Kings Point, NY —4/21/19- Nic Baird ’19, Graceann Nicolosi ’20, Sam Tobin ’22 and Sonia Lingos-Utley ‘21 are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week for their commanding victory in A-division at the Admiral’s Cup hosted by the US Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point.  The A-division team from Yale dominated the field during the first 8 races, featuring winds gusting to 30 knots.  Baird went to his light air specialist Lingos-Utley as they defended their lead in the lighter winds of Sunday’s 8 races.  The A-division victory came against some of the strongest A-division sailors in the country, including runner up Dartmouth and third place Stanford. The Bulldogs are in a strong position to add to their Team Race New England Championship at next week’s Coast Guard Alumni Bowl hosted by Bowdoin College.
