*** Harvey and Lingos-Utley are the NEISA COED Sailors of the Week ***
St. Mary’s, MD – 10/23-24/21 – Fall COED competition reached its peak this past weekend with the COED ACC Finals held at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. The Yale Bulldogs, Shawn Harvey ’21 and Sonia Lingos-Utley ’21, are the NEISA COED Sailors of the Week after winning A-division. In the nine races sailed, Harvey and Lingos-Utley finished in the top three seven times and won three races. Congrats the Yale for winning the regatta.
*** Cowles, Ware and Webb are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week ***
Branford, CT – 10/23-24/21 – Yale’s Emma Cowles ’25 and crews Helena Ware ’23 and Catherine Webb ’23 are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week after their dominating performance in A-division, winning by 39 points and contributed to the team’s 50 point win. Cowles and crew finished in the top five in every race.
Around the Conference:
UVM won the Chris Loder Trophy and Yale won the Fairfield Cup. BC hosted the Norman G. Reid Team Race won by Harvard. Harvard also won the Lane Trophy Team Race hosted by Tufts.
